HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 10
(By Mr. Speaker, Mr. Kiss, and Delegates Martin, Michael,
Douglas, Givens, Manuel, Mezzatesta, Pino, Staton, Varner,
Ashley, Faircloth, Miller and Riggs)
Recognizing the outstanding and valiant service of more than 8000
men and women who provide emergency medical services to the people of West Virginia.
Whereas, The willingness of these men and women to serve the
state of West Virginia and the subsequent perseverance of their
families have helped formulate the strong values of the citizens
of this state; and
Whereas
, Emergency medical service personnel throughout the
state have provided superb protection of the public's health,
safety and welfare, not only in times of emergency but also on a
regular and consistent basis; and
Whereas, The State of West Virginia will continue to
encourage and support emergency medical service providers in
protecting the citizens of this State; and
Whereas
, The House of Delegates is aware of the concerns that
county emergency medical service personnel have, and that members
of the House are committed to addressing those concerns;
therefore, be it
Resolved by the House of Delegates:
That the House hereby recognizes the outstanding service of
the state's county emergency medical service personnel to meet
the needs of the citizens of the State of West Virginia
; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the House of Delegates honors all of
West Virginia's emergency medical services personnel for their
invaluable contributions to preserving the safety and health of
the gGreat State of West Virginia.
